Black Swamp Arts Festival
September 9-11
Great art, great music, and great food are all to be found at the 2011 Black Swamp Arts Festival in Bowling Green. There will be over 100 juried art displays from local and national artists, performance art events, visual artists creating work on-site and youth art activities.

Henry Ford Museum

See Presidential limousines, the bus in which Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat, historic airplanes, Dymaxion House and more at the renowned Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. Covering more than 9 acres and housing an IMAX theater, the Henry Ford awes and inspires visitors of all ages.

Monroe County Fair

July 31-August 6, 2011

Since the 1800s, this fair has been bringing families together for good old-fashioned fun. Enjoy toe-tapping live music, carnival rides, rodeos, 4-H displays and demonstrations, a petting zoo, and much more.

Raceway Park
Get ready to place your bets at Raceway Park, Toledo's own harness racing track. Built in the late 1950s as a car track and later converted for thoroughbred racing, Raceway Park's theater-style seating ensures that no one misses a minute of the action on the 5/8 mile oval track. It's also home to the annual Buckeye-Wolverine Pace, which has accurately predicted the winner of the Michigan-Ohio State football games 80 percent of the time.

Sauder Village
April 26-October 30
Experience life in the 19th and early 20th centuries as you tour the Historic Sauder Village. Spend time watching coopers, basket weavers, woodworkers, tinsmiths, wool spinners, and other artisans honing their crafts. Staff dressed in period clothing are on hand to answer questions, lead demonstrations and make your tour truly unforgettable. Be sure to stop at the gift shop!

SS Willis Boyer
April 19-October 31
Step back in time as you tour the S.S. Willis B. Boyer, once the widest and most luxurious vessels in the Great Lakes shipping industry. Originally launched in 1911 this freighter held multiple tonnage records for coal, iron ore and other cargo.

The Toledo Farmer's Market has been bringing fresh produce to the community since 1832. Today, you can find delicious breads and pastries, farm-fresh poultry, flowers, herbs and more.

Toledo Mud Hens
April-September
For more than 100 years, the Toledo Mud Hens have been bringing local fans to their feet. See mascots Muddy and Muddonna entertain the crowd, enjoy a funnel cake or a heater dog, and sing during the seventh inning stretch. Be sure to bring your glove!

Toledo Speedway
April 15  - October 16
Engines have been roaring at the Toledo Speedway since 1963 and the short track is now famous. From stock cars to school buses, there's always fast driving fun to be found. See the speedway's schedule by clicking on Toledo Speedway when you visit.

Toledo Zoo
Every year, nearly 1 million people visit the Toledo Zoo, which is home to over 5,300 animals - over 760 species.
